I know I’ve been promising you the next issue of Marketing For REAL People, but I just keep adding to it. This issue is going to be huge so be on the lookout. Especially if you are a newbie because I’ve finally come up with something that any, (yes, I mean ANY) person can do online.

Today I want to talk to you though about membership sites. There seems to be so many of them popping up everywhere, and to tell you the truth as a marketer, there are so many that I am just being slammed with joint venture offers to promote them. That’s a good thing though…

Why? Because that means there is money to be made. That’s really good news for you.

Last year I had a site that made me over $6800 a month. That’s just one site. I had some huge problems with the site (mainly PayPal issues) so I decided to take the membership part of it away. It was www.MyOriginalEProducts.com If I would have kept it as a membership site, there is no telling what it would be making me now.

I’ve read everything I can get my hands on about membership sites since then, and between now and February, I have at least three that will be coming out. Knowing what I know know I’ll at least make as much off of them as I did www.MyOriginalEProducts.com from each of them. $20,000 a month to run three sites isn’t bad at all.

Today, I’m not promoting anything… I haven’t gotten the Marketing For REAL People newsletter all the way finished, so I thought I’d send out an email about something I’ve been wanting to talk about for a while now, but just hadn’t had the time.

I want to talk about all the bonus packages you see being offered from affiliates wanting you to purchase through their links. If you’re on many mailing lists at all, I’m sure you’ve seen this done. Heck, you’re my subscriber, and I offer bonus packages, so I know you’ve seen it done.

These affiliates offer these bonus packages to stand out from other affiliates who are promoting the same tactic. It’s an awesome technique and when it comes to big ticket items, it’s the ONLY way to be a top affiliate!

Let’s look at an example…

My master mind group partner Jeff Dedrick is promoting Stomper Net. Now there are tons of people promoting it today #1 because it is an awesome product, and #2 because the affiliate commissions for it are awesome! Jeff knew this in advanced so he put together an incredible bonus package.

I’m not going to go over everything that Jeff is offering because you can see it at the URL above, however, Jeff has made the perfect offer. His bonus is totally relevant to what he is promoting and that is the big key that so many people miss. Their bonus packages have nothing to do with the actual product they are creating.

Jeff is known for totally over delivering on his bonus packages, and when you create yours, that’s what you should strive for also. The more work you put into your bonus package the more likely it will rake in the sales for you.

Another thing you can do to get people to use your affiliate links is to start telling people about your bonus package before the product even launches. Educate them about the product before it launches, and then start telling them what else they can get just by ordering through your link.

So, the next time you want to become a top affiliate and make some great commissions:

1. Find out about the product before is launches.
2. Educate your readers about the product.
3. Offer a bonus package related to the product and really over deliver.
4. Announce your bonus package before the product comes out.

This will put you WAY ahead of 98% of other affiliates who do nothing but send an affiliate link out. You don’t have to do this with everything you promote, but when you know it’s going to be a big time product it’s always a good idea to follow the above.

By the way… For those of you who don’t have a list. You can also do this with a blog. You’ll just have to use all the traffic techniques you possibly can to get people to your blog and reading!
