Well, I always devote this part of the newsletter to tell you guys what I’ve been talking about since the last newsletter. I’ve been running my mouth a lot so we’ve got a few things to review.

The re-birth of www.MyOriginalEProducts.com was the highlight. For months I’ve been debating about re-launching this site. I finally did it and made it bigger and BETTER!! So, You Want To Make $5000 A Month?

So, you want to make $5000 a month?

I got the following question from a subscriber about a month ago. This question is why the newsletter is so late. I thought long and hard about it, and now I’m going to give you my best answer. Here’s the question…

“If I apply good business sense, skills, and just plain hard 80+ hours work, how long would it take me to make a minimum of $5K per month…if I built 10-20 sites following your advice. I know that you don’t have a crystal ball, but imagine me as hard working as anyone you have every met! Just give me an idea I promise I won’t hold you to it!”

Legally, I can’t tell you that you will make any amount of money in any amount of time. I know that sounds like the typical answer that top marketers give you, but it’s honestly the truth. I don’t know you, your work habits, your level of knowledge, and anyone that tells you that you can make X amount of money in X amount of time is probably lying to you. I can give you step-by-step blueprints (like The Easy Resale Rights Blueprint www.tomeymarketing.com/products/resalerightsblueprint ) and if you follow them, you will make money. I just can’t legally tell you how much and how long it will take.

However, I will go out on a limb here, and tell you what I would do to make $5K a month within a few months. How’s that sound?

With that said, it’s time to make a plan! That’s where we always start, right?

My plan to make this money would be in niches outside the Internet marketing niche. The reason being is because there is less competition. My passion is in Internet marketing, and that’s why it’s my main niche. I would pick 5 niches with the goal to make an average of $1000 a month per niche. I’d take each niche and create a newsletter sales letter page like I have done for my newsletter at www.MarketingForREALPeople.com I’d give several products away inturn for the person to sign up for my list. Once they were on my list, I’d promote products and services to them, along with products that I create on the topic.

So there’s my general plan. Now let’s take this step-by-step so that you can have a blueprint to try this out if you would like.

Step #1

The first thing we are going to have to do is some research. Grab a sheet of paper or open your word processing program and start writing topics that come to your mind. Just take a deep breath and write down anything. Don’t worry about who will or wont be interested yet. I want you to come up with at least 100 different topics.

Once you have your topics all written down, it’s time to get into some research. Go to www.ClickBank.com (If you don’t have a ClickBank.com account, you will need to get one. It wont cost you anything.) Click on “Promote Products” from the left hand side menu. Take the first topic you have listed and type it into the search box at the top of the page.

Example:

My first topic is “cat care”. I will use it to find products I can promote to the people who will be signing up for my list.

Within the first 5 search results pages, I have found 5 different products. That’s a good sign. These products are what I am going to use to make most of my monthly income. You’ll want to find a minimum of at least 3 products for a niche topic you will want to use.

There’s one more test you’ll need to put your topic through.

You need to make sure that enough people are searching for your topic. You can do this by using the free suggestion tool over at searchmarketing.yahoo.com/rc/srch/ Just click on “Keyword Selector Tool” at the bottom right.

You’re looking for a minimum of 5,000 searches a month. A lot of people think that’s a really low number, but I’m only wanting to make $1,000 a month off of this topic. I have found it easier to make money with several tiny niches than just one big niche.

My topic “cat care” comes up with 6,266 searches. That’s perfect for me.

I’ve also done well with topics that get up to about 50,000 searches a month, so you can go higher than the 5,000 searches. This is just a guide. Don’t let these numbers totally determine if you use the niche or not.

With this research done, I now have my first topic… Cat care!

I’ll go through each of my topics until I find four others to give me a total of 5 niche topics.

Step #2

In this step, you’ll need to invest in an autoresponder. I use and highly recommend Aweber (www.tomeymarketing.com/aweber.htm) I use Aweber over other services and scripts because of their deliverability rate. If your emails aren’t getting to your subscribers, you wont be making any money.

Go back to ClickBank.com and get your affiliate links for the products that relate to your topic. Write up an endorsement email for each product and load it to your autoresponder.

Let me say one thing here. You should NOT only promote products to this list. Give them information or other free stuff. My rule of thumb with these lists are 2 content emails to every 1 promotion email. Your content can be article either you or other have written, a cool site about your topic that you found, or any other information that pertains to your topic.

If you hammer people with sales emails all the time, you will lose subscribers.

I would add at least 10-15 messages to your autoresponder, and have them emailed out every 4-6 days.

Step #3

Your next step will be taking your first topic and creating a sales letter newsletter sign up page. If you don’t know how to do this, I highly recommend that you grab my List Build Mentor System (www.tomeymarketing.com/products/list-building-mentor-system/lbmslinks.htm) It will teach you to set up your own newsletter sales page the right way.

You’re going to have to offer your potential subscribers to this newsletter some juicy bonuses to sign up to your list. You can do any of the following to get these bonuses:

1. Use a product you have resale rights to. Make sure that you can give the product away for free.
2. Pay someone to create the bonuses for you.
3. Use private label content to make the bonuses yourself. (I have a list of sites listed at www.marketingforrealpeople.com/articles/private-label-content.htm that offer private label content.)

You’ll need between 3-5 bonuses to offer your potential subscribers.

Once you get your sales letter finished, add your autoresponder code to your page so that your visitors can sign up to your list.

Now you have this setup on semi-autopilot. Your only work now is to get people signed up for your list.

Step #4

Now let’s talk about some ways to get visitors coming to your newsletter sign up page to subscribe to your newsletter.

The main way I would use would be articles. I’d write or have written as many articles as I possibly could on the topic of my niche, and slowly submit them to the article directories. Don’t underestimate the power of article marketing. It’s one of the number one ways that I promote my entire business.

You could also submit one of your free bonuses to ebook directories. Just make sure you put an ad pointing to your newsletter sales page to get the traffic coming to you.

PPC Advertising - Although this isn’t free advertising, if done correctly can pay out big time for you. Here’s the way I think about PPC advertising. If I can put $1 into it and get $1.50 out isn’t your time worth it? Putt $100 in and get $150 out? I’ll stick $100 bills in all day long.

With PPC advertising you can even get much more money out than you put in. There is a bit of work that goes into PPC advertising and quite a learning curve. Before using it, I suggest that you seek out additional resources.
Let’s talk about some other ways to profit from these lists you are building.

You could also find ezines on your niche topic to advertise in. Just do a search on Google or look at an ezine directory site.

Another way to promote your newsletter sales page site would be to find sites that are on the same topic as your newsletter and see if they offer advertising.

These are just a few ways you could promote your newsletter sale page site, and if you decide to go this route, I highly suggest that you use other promotional methods to get the most traffic to your site as possible.

Step #5

Rinse and repeat. That’s right. Use these steps for your other four niches. When you get those four done and you start promoting, you should be making at least $1000 a month from each of the 5 niches you started with for a total of $5000 each month.

Here’s a few more income ideas for your new lists…

I would buy private label content that is related to the topics of my lists and create products to sell to these lists. For instance, with the cat care niche list example. I would buy private label products about cat care and make them into my own products that I would promote to that list. If the list made me a good amount of money, I’d also pay others to create products for me. This just saves me time. These products will make you 100% profits over and over again!

I would also find articles on the topic and place them on a web page. I’d then place Google Adsense ads on that page also and email my list the URL of the page and let them know you’ve placed some content their about your topic. You’ll make money any time any one of them clicks on any of your Google Adsense ads.

So that’s it… If I was looking for a way to add an extra $5000 a month to my income, this is the way I would do it. Here’s a little hint… I already do this in 7 different niches, and $5000 a month is rather a low goal. I wont say anymore about it…

If you decide to try this, please keep me updated on your progress. Yes, it will take some work, but don’t think for one moment that I don’t work my butt off for the money that I make. You’re no different. You’ll have to work hard too!

I also be releasing a coaching program this month. It’s going to be limited to just a few people. I’m thinking only 20-30 people. This will be one-on-one coaching, with a lot of bonuses. What I will be offering I have never seen another marketer offer. This coaching will go fast, so you really need to be paying attention to your emails!
